Komodo Cruise is the cruise desk operated by Komodo Luxury, a Labuan Bajo operator founded in 2015. The desk matches guests to the right Komodo cruise format (3D2N share trips from USD 300 per person, weekday open trips from USD 220, or whole-boat private charters priced per vessel), and Komodo Luxury’s reservations team handles every booking directly.
Who operates Komodo Cruise?
Komodo Cruise isn’t a marketplace or a lead reseller. It is the cruise desk of Komodo Luxury, which has run sailing trips out of Labuan Bajo, on the western tip of Flores, since 2015. Your message goes to the same reservations team that confirms departures on komodoluxury.com.
Juara Holding Group publishes this website. Komodo Luxury runs the trips.

What does the cruise desk actually do?
Komodo Luxury sells sailing packages from 1 to 11 days. Most guests don’t know whether they need a shared cabin, a weekday departure or a private phinisi. The desk settles that before you pay anything.
In practice, the desk:
- asks for your travel dates, group size and rough budget
- checks which formats run on those dates. Shared cabins are sold only on 3D2N open trips, 2D1N open trips are on request and 4D3N runs only on selected departures
- shortlists vessels from the Komodo Luxury fleet that fit your headcount
- flags logistics such as the flight from Bali and the park entry rules reported for 2026
Which cruise formats does the desk cover?
| Format | Duration | Price basis | Starting figure (as of 2026) |
|---|---|---|---|
| Weekday open trip | 3D2N | Per person, shared | From USD 220 |
| Open trip, share cabin | 3D2N | Per person, shared | From USD 300 (USD 300–850 by vessel and cabin) |
| Open trip, short | 2D1N | On request | Quoted by the desk |
| Open trip, long | 4D3N | Selected departures | Quoted by the desk |
| Private phinisi or yacht charter | 2D1N–4D3N | Per vessel, whole boat | Varies by vessel (see below) |
| Day and sunset cruises | Day or evening | Varies | Quoted by the desk |
| Tour with hotel | Open trip + Labuan Bajo hotel nights | Bundle | Quoted by the desk |
Shared 3D2N trips follow a fixed route: Padar Island, Pink Beach, Komodo Island and Manta Point, usually with about 8 to 22 other guests. Departures typically run Monday to Wednesday and Friday to Sunday. The price covers the boat, all meals, snorkelling equipment and a guide. You pay extra for alcohol and for the Komodo National Park fee, which Komodo Luxury puts at USD 40–50 per person, paid once per trip.
Which vessels can the desk match you to?
Private charters are priced per vessel, never per person, and every boat has its own guest bands. The figures below come from Komodo Luxury vessel listings as of 2026 and may change.
| Vessel | 2D1N | 3D2N | Guest band and notes |
|---|---|---|---|
| Malca Voyages | USD 5,300 | USD 6,000 | 1–12 guests |
| Riley (phinisi) | IDR 52,000,000 | IDR 68,000,000 | 1–8 guests; 4D3N IDR 87,500,000 |
| Lady Grace (phinisi) | IDR 94,000,000 | IDR 123,000,000 | 1–10 guests, 10 cabins (June 2026 listing) |
| Le Costa (luxury yacht) | IDR 110,000,000 | IDR 170,000,000 | 1–14 guests |
| Elbark, Ayvara, Raffles, Vinca | On request | On request | Current specs and rates via the desk |
With 9 to 12 guests, Riley costs IDR 56,000,000 (2D1N) or IDR 72,500,000 (3D2N). Malca Voyages also sells shared cabins; for September 2026 they ran from USD 300 per person (Triple) to USD 580 (Master Ocean View).
Komodo Luxury publishes little about Elbark, Ayvara, Raffles and Vinca, and we won’t print figures we can’t source.
How does Komodo Cruise relate to komodoluxury.com?
komodoluxury.com is the operator’s own site and the reference for bookings. Komodo Cruise has a narrower brief. It covers cruises only: share trips, private and luxury charters, honeymoon sailings, planning from Bali, day and sunset cruises, and side-by-side vessel comparisons.
When a page here names a boat or package, it links to the matching product page on komodoluxury.com so you can check the operator’s listing yourself. Both sites use one reservations team, one WhatsApp line and one email address. Our prices come from those listings. We don’t set our own.
How are prices and facts checked on this site?
These five editorial standards apply to every page:
- Every price is dated. Figures say “as of 2026” or name a departure month, because charter rates change with the season.
- Prices come from Komodo Luxury product and vessel pages. Third-party figures are labelled, such as KomodoTrip’s 2026 reference of about USD 120–150 per person for a shared speedboat day tour.
- No made-up reviews, ratings or awards. The site shows no star scores, testimonials or credentials it can’t verify.
- No guarantees. Nobody can promise Komodo dragon sightings, manta encounters, calm seas or good weather.
- Reported rules are labelled as reported. New park regulations are described as reported, with a note to confirm them with the desk.
For example, a park-wide cap of about 1,000 visitors a day was reportedly enforced from 1 April 2026, with time-slotted entry and passport pre-registration through operator manifests. The Labuan Bajo harbourmaster (KSOP) also reportedly restricted tourist boats after dark in high-risk zones from 10 January 2026.
How does booking work?
- Send your dates and guest count by WhatsApp to +62 811-3823-875 or by email to sales@komodoluxury.com.
- Choose a format: shared cabin or whole-boat private charter. Most open trips run in the dry season, April to November.
- Review the shortlist. It lists the vessel, cabin or guest band, inclusions, park fee and route.
- Confirm with the reservations team, which sets out payment terms in writing.
- Send passport details for the vessel manifest used for park pre-registration.
- Plan your arrival. From Bali, fly Denpasar (DPS) to Labuan Bajo (LBJ). Arriving the day before departure is the safest option.
- Board in Labuan Bajo at the time on your confirmation.

Frequently Asked Questions
Is Komodo Cruise a travel agent or the actual operator?
Komodo Cruise is the cruise desk of Komodo Luxury, the operator founded in Labuan Bajo in 2015. It doesn’t resell trips for an unnamed third party. The desk helps you choose a format and vessel, and Komodo Luxury’s reservations team confirms the booking directly. Juara Holding Group publishes this website.
Who replies when I contact Komodo Cruise?
Komodo Luxury’s reservations team replies. It uses the WhatsApp line +62 811-3823-875 and the address sales@komodoluxury.com, the same contacts listed for the operator. Start with your travel dates and number of guests. The team will then ask whether you want a shared cabin on an open trip or a private charter of a whole boat.
Are prices on Komodo Cruise different from komodoluxury.com?
The desk doesn’t set a separate price list. Figures here come from Komodo Luxury product and vessel pages and carry a date, such as the 3D2N share trip from USD 300 per person as of 2026. Rates change with the season and vessel, so the reservations team’s written quote is the final number.
Why doesn’t Komodo Cruise show star ratings or guest testimonials?
The site’s editorial standards rule out reviews, ratings, awards or credentials that can’t be verified. Rather than show borrowed or invented scores, pages stick to things you can check: named vessels, guest bands, inclusions, routes and dated prices. If you want to hear from past guests, ask the desk what it can share.
