Open trip inclusions are the boat, all meals, snorkelling equipment and a guide. Alcohol is optional and extra. The fixed 3D2N route covers Padar Island, Pink Beach, Komodo Island and Manta Point. Cabin choice moves the price: on Malca Voyages departures the per-person rate is quoted for the cabin type you pick, from a Triple up to the Master Ocean View.

Riley's package rates were checked on 16 September 2026. Shared cabins are sold only on the 3D2N open trip; a 2D1N open trip is on request, and 4D3N runs on selected departures only. For Elbark, Ayvara, Raffles and Vinca, private rates come from the desk. Komodo Luxury also publishes a door-to-door Bali-to-Komodo package, quoted on request, which bundles return flights, private transfers, an optional hotel night and a 3D2N phinisi voyage.

Fly the day before. A same-day flight can work on paper, but it leaves no buffer for delays.
Same-day morning flight
- A delayed or cancelled flight can mean missing the departure outright
- A shared boat carrying other guests generally cannot hold for one late arrival — confirm the policy
- Park entry reportedly runs in timed sessions, so a late start squeezes Day 1
- Boats must reach anchorage before nightfall, which leaves little slack for late boarding
Arrive the day before
- One short flight, then a transfer to your Labuan Bajo hotel
- An evening to confirm your passport details are on the boat manifest
- A short morning transfer to the harbour, boarding on schedule
- On the final day, a later flight back to Bali — ask the desk for the expected return time before you ticket

Can you sail all the way from Bali or Lombok?
Yes, but it is a different product. Komodo Luxury runs multi-day sailing itineraries between Lombok and Komodo, and some travellers start one after a Bali stay.
Those trips spend more days at sea, follow their own route and are priced separately from anything on this page.
If your goal is Padar, Pink Beach and the dragons within a short Bali break, the flight plus a 3D2N cruise is the faster fit by a wide margin.
- More days at sea, and fewer of them inside Komodo National Park itself
- Its own route and its own price — do not compare it to a 3D2N rate
When to plan it
No operator can promise dragon or manta sightings, or the weather.
- April to November: dry season, when most open-trip departures cluster, with calmer seas and better visibility.
- December to March: wet season. Cruises still run, but weather changes are more frequent.
- 3D2N open trips typically leave Monday to Wednesday and Friday to Sunday, with weekly departures publicised for 2026 to 2027.
- A park-wide cap of about 1,000 visitors a day was reported as enforced from 1 April 2026, with digital pre-registration through operator manifests.
