Komodo Cruise Disclaimer: Prices, Park Rules and Liability

The Komodo cruise disclaimer in short: every price, park fee, visitor quota and regulation on komodocruise.com is reported as of 2026 and can change without notice. Itineraries depend on weather, the Labuan Bajo harbourmaster and Komodo National Park rules. Wildlife sightings are never guaranteed, and nothing here is insurance, legal or medical advice.

Who operates Komodo Cruise and who publishes this site?

Komodo Cruise is the cruise desk operated by Komodo Luxury, a Labuan Bajo operator founded in 2015. Its reservations team handles bookings directly. The website itself is published by Juara Holding Group.

Not every vessel shown here is owned by Komodo Luxury. Where a boat belongs to another owner, the trip is arranged via vetted licensed partners, and that vessel’s operator stays responsible for the ship, its crew and its sailing permits.

How current are the prices on this site?

Prices are snapshots, not promises. The figures below were reported as of 2026 and are subject to change.

Item Reported figure (as of 2026) What can change it
3D2N open trip, share cabin From USD 300 per person; Komodo Luxury states a USD 300–850 range by vessel and cabin Vessel, cabin grade, season, availability
Weekday open trip From USD 220 per person Departure day, seats left
Private charter, Malca Voyages 2D1N USD 5,300 / 3D2N USD 6,000 per vessel, 1–12 guests Dates, guest count, vessel schedule
Komodo National Park fee USD 40–50 per person, paid once per trip, per Komodo Luxury guidance Government tariff decisions
Market reference (third party) KomodoTrip 2026: shared 3D2N liveaboards USD 220–450 per person Not a Komodo Luxury price

Private charters are priced per vessel, never per person, and each boat has its own rate card. Prices quoted in IDR move with the exchange rate when converted.

Only a written quote from the reservations team counts as a price. If a figure on this site is shown in error, the desk will flag it before any payment is taken, and you are under no obligation to continue.

Why can an itinerary change after booking?

The standard 3D2N route covers Padar Island, Pink Beach, Komodo Island and Manta Point. That route is a plan, not a guarantee. These factors can reorder or replace stops:

  • Weather and sea state. December–March is the wet season, with more weather-related changes. Most departures cluster in the dry season, April–November.
  • Harbourmaster orders. The Labuan Bajo harbourmaster (KSOP) reportedly restricted tourist-vessel movement after dark in high-risk park zones from 10 January 2026, so boats must reach anchorages before nightfall.
  • Park quotas. A cap of about 1,000 visitors per day was reported, trialled January–March 2026 and enforced from 1 April 2026, with time-slotted sessions of roughly 05:00–08:00, 08:00–11:00 and 15:00–18:00.
  • Registration. Entry reportedly requires digital pre-registration with passport details through operator manifests. Walk-in entry is not reliable.
  • Vessel or crew safety. A technical fault or the captain’s safety call on the day takes priority over any printed route.
  • Flights. Delays on the Denpasar (DPS) to Labuan Bajo (LBJ) route can cause a missed departure. Arriving the day before is the safest plan.

When a stop is lost, crews usually swap in nearby sites such as Rinca (Loh Buaya), Taka Makassar, Kanawa or Kalong Island. Rules reported here are summaries; confirm the current position with the desk before you travel.

Are Komodo dragon or manta ray sightings guaranteed?

No. Komodo dragons are wild animals inside a national park, and rangers decide where groups may walk. Manta rays follow currents and plankton, so a visit to Manta Point can end without a single sighting.

The trip fee pays for the boat, crew, meals, snorkelling equipment and guiding. It does not buy an encounter with any animal, a calm sea or clear water.

Where do vessel details come from?

Cabin counts, capacities and inclusions come from vessel pages published by Komodo Luxury and its partners. For example, Lady Grace appears on a June 2026 listing as a phinisi with 10 cabins, and Le Costa is listed for 1–14 guests.

Public specifications for Elbark, Ayvara, Raffles and Vinca are thin. Where no published figure exists, details are available on request via the desk rather than estimated here. Boats are refitted between seasons, so confirm the exact cabin and layout before paying.

Is anything on this site insurance, legal or medical advice?

No. Content on komodocruise.com is general travel information.

  • Insurance. Buy your own travel insurance covering snorkelling, boat travel and medical evacuation from Flores.
  • Medical. Speak to a doctor about seasickness, swimming fitness or existing conditions before booking.
  • Legal and entry rules. Check visa and entry requirements with official Indonesian government sources.
  • Financial. Nothing here is financial advice, and no discount or outcome is promised.

What are the limits of liability?

Juara Holding Group, as publisher, is not liable for losses caused by relying on general information that has since changed. Your booking is governed by the written confirmation issued by Komodo Luxury, which sets out deposits, payment dates, cancellation and refund terms. Read it before you pay.

Nothing in this disclaimer removes rights you hold under Indonesian law, including Law No. 8 of 1999 on Consumer Protection, or any liability that cannot legally be excluded.

A practical safeguard: if anyone asks you to pay into an account not confirmed through +62 811-3823-875 or sales@komodoluxury.com, stop and verify with the desk first.

How is personal data handled under UU PDP and GDPR?

Indonesia’s Personal Data Protection Law, Law No. 27 of 2022 (UU PDP), applies to data handled for Komodo Cruise bookings. Visitors from the European Union and elsewhere may also hold rights under the GDPR where it applies.

The desk collects only what a booking needs: name, contact details, travel dates, guest count, passport details for park manifests, and any dietary or health notes you choose to share. Passport details go to the relevant park authority and vessel operator for registration.
