Riley's 4D3N package rate was checked on 16 September 2026. The 3D2N open trip typically departs Monday–Wednesday and Friday–Sunday.
Four rules behind that table
The prices only make sense once these are clear.
- Shared cabins exist only on the 3D2N open trip, with roughly 8 to 22 fellow guests depending on the boat.
- Private prices are per vessel, never per person. Le Costa's 3D2N is quoted per vessel for your dates, duration and guest count, including any extra-guest charge.
- The park fee is extra. It is paid separately and is not part of the cruise price — ask the desk for the current amount.
- Season matters. Boats sail year-round, but most open-trip departures cluster in the April–November dry season; December–March brings more weather-related changes.

Day 3 · back in Labuan Bajo
The 3D2N itinerary returns to port around midday, so an afternoon flight out is workable.
Weather permitting. Leave a few hours of buffer in case sea conditions slow the last leg.
The exact pier depends on your vessel. The desk sends it with your confirmation.
A park-wide cap of about 1,000 visitors a day was reported as enforced from 1 April 2026, with timed entry sessions of roughly 05:00–08:00, 08:00–11:00 and 15:00–18:00.

From Komodo Airport to the boat
About 10 to 15 minutes by road. Komodo Airport sits on the edge of Labuan Bajo town, so the land leg is the shortest part of your trip.
On Komodo Luxury open trips, pickup from your hotel or the airport to the meeting point is included. The terms add one limit: it covers only the Labuan Bajo mainland area near the harbour. Hotels on other islands or in the Manjaga area sit outside the zone, so guests staying there make their own way.
Coming from Bali, the Denpasar (DPS) to Labuan Bajo flight takes roughly 1.5 hours. It is a domestic hop with no extra paperwork beyond your Indonesia entry.

Stay the night before, or fly in on the day
For any multi-day format the answer is the night before. Komodo Luxury recommends it, and the reasons are practical rather than commercial.
Fly in on sailing morning
- An 08:00 or 09:00 pickup leaves no margin for a late morning arrival
- A shared boat carrying other guests generally cannot hold for one late arrival
- A missed park entry session can reshape or shorten Day 1
- Works only if your flight lands very early and nothing slips
Sleep in Labuan Bajo first
- You make the Day 1 pickup whatever your flight does
- Time to confirm your passport details are on the boat manifest
- Choose a hotel inside the mainland pickup zone near the harbour
- The desk can bundle the hotel nights with the open trip if you prefer
- Boats must reach anchorages before nightfall and cannot wait for stragglers
Park entry now relies on digital pre-registration with passport details through operator manifests, so walk-in entry is not reliable.

After-dark movement in high-risk park zones was reportedly restricted from 10 January 2026, so anchorages must be reached before nightfall.

Confirmation, itinerary, meeting point and pickup time arrive by email and WhatsApp.
Park fees, crew tips and alcohol are paid separately. No operator can guarantee dragon or manta sightings, calm seas or an unchanged route: the itinerary follows weather and park conditions on the day.
