Komodo Cruise Terms of Service

Komodo Cruise Terms of Service

These Komodo Cruise terms of service govern your use of komodocruise.com, an information and enquiry desk operated by Komodo Luxury in Labuan Bajo. Site content and prices are indicative and date-stamped; any cruise you book is governed by the written booking and cancellation terms Komodo Luxury issues with your quote, under Indonesian law.

Last updated: 16 September 2026.

Who operates komodocruise.com, and who publishes it?

Komodo Cruise is the cruise desk of Komodo Luxury, a Labuan Bajo operator founded in 2015 whose reservations team handles bookings directly. The website is published by Juara Holding Group.

In these terms, “we”, “us” and “the desk” mean Komodo Cruise acting for Komodo Luxury. “You” means anyone who visits the site or sends an enquiry through it. By using the site, you accept these terms. If you do not agree, please stop using it.

Party Role Responsible for
Komodo Luxury Operator Quotes, bookings, payments, vessel allocation, written booking and cancellation terms
Komodo Cruise Cruise desk and information site Guides, itinerary explanations, routing enquiries to reservations
Juara Holding Group Publisher Hosting, editorial standards, site administration
Park and port authorities Regulators Park entry, visitor quotas, sailing permissions

What is the content on this site meant for?

Everything published here, from 3D2N share-trip guides to comparisons of Elbark, Ayvara, Raffles, Vinca and Le Costa, is general travel information. It is not a contract, a binding offer or professional advice.

  • Itineraries describe typical routes, such as Padar Island, Pink Beach, Komodo Island and Manta Point on the fixed 3D2N open trip. They are not guaranteed sequences.
  • Vessel details reflect what Komodo Luxury vessel pages publish at the time of writing. Where public specs are thin, we say “on request”.
  • Nothing here is legal, tax, medical, immigration or financial advice. Check visas, health and insurance with qualified sources.

Are the prices shown on komodocruise.com final?

No. Every price on the site is indicative, date-stamped and subject to change. Season, vessel availability, fuel and park fees all move rates. The only binding price is the one in your written quote.

Reference figures published on this site, as of 2026:

Product Indicative price (as of 2026) Basis
3D2N open trip, share cabin From USD 300 per person Komodo Luxury; shared range USD 300–850 by vessel and cabin
Weekday open trip From USD 220 per person Komodo Luxury
Malca Voyages private charter USD 5,300 (2D1N) / USD 6,000 (3D2N) Per vessel, 1–12 guests
Le Costa private charter IDR 110,000,000 (2D1N) / IDR 170,000,000 (3D2N) Per vessel, 1–14 guests; extra-guest surcharge applies
Komodo National Park fee About USD 40–50 per person Komodo Luxury guidance; paid once per trip; set by authorities

Private charter prices are always per vessel and per duration. They are never a per-person rate.

How does a booking become binding?

Browsing the site or messaging the desk creates no booking. A reservation exists only once Komodo Luxury confirms it in writing.

  1. You send your travel dates and guest count by WhatsApp or email.
  2. You choose a shared cabin or a whole-boat private charter.
  3. The reservations team issues a written quote with its booking terms: payment schedule, deposit, balance deadline, cancellation and refund rules, and inclusions.
  4. The booking is confirmed when you accept those terms and Komodo Luxury acknowledges your payment in writing.

Those written terms prevail over anything on this website. We do not publish a standard deposit percentage or refund scale here, because they differ by product, vessel and departure date. Read them before you pay, and ask about anything unclear before accepting.

What happens if weather or the park authority changes the itinerary?

Komodo cruises sail open water inside a regulated national park, so plans can shift. Safety decisions by the captain and the authorities come first. Boats run year-round, but the wet season from December to March brings more weather changes than the drier April-to-November window.

Trigger Typical effect Who decides
Swell, wind or storms Reordered or substituted stops, shorter snorkel sessions, sheltered anchorages Captain, with harbourmaster guidance
Visitor caps and entry sessions Adjusted landing times at Komodo, Rinca or Padar Park authority
Night-sailing limits Earlier arrival at anchorage Labuan Bajo harbourmaster (KSOP)
Late flights into Labuan Bajo (LBJ) Missed scheduled departure You and your airline; the desk can advise options

According to 2026 reports, a park-wide cap of about 1,000 visitors a day was enforced from 1 April 2026, with time-slotted entry sessions and digital pre-registration using passport details. KSOP also reportedly restricted tourist-vessel movement after dark in high-risk zones from 10 January 2026. These rules evolve, so confirm current conditions with the desk before you travel.

Wildlife is wild. Nobody can guarantee Komodo dragon or manta sightings, calm seas or clear water. Whether an itinerary change affects any refund is set by the written booking terms for your trip.

What are the limits of our liability?

To the extent Indonesian law allows:

  • The website is provided “as is”. We work to keep it accurate, but we do not warrant that every figure, schedule or vessel detail is current or error-free.
  • We are not liable for losses caused by relying on site content without a written quote, or by site downtime.
  • We are not responsible for services you arrange yourself, such as flights, hotels outside a Komodo Luxury bundle, or travel insurance.
  • Liability for a booked cruise is determined by Komodo Luxury’s written booking terms and applicable law.
  • You are responsible for valid passports and visas, your fitness for boat travel and snorkelling, and following crew and ranger safety instructions.

Nothing in these terms removes rights you hold under Indonesia’s Consumer Protection Law (Law No. 8 of 1999), or excludes liability that cannot lawfully be limited. We recommend travel insurance that covers marine activities and trip disruption.

How is your personal data handled?

We collect only what an enquiry needs: your name, contact details, travel dates, guest count and, closer to departure, passport details for park manifests. Personal data is processed under Indonesia’s Personal Data Protection Law (UU PDP, Law No. 27 of 2022), and is shared only where a trip requires it, for example with park authorities for registration.

Many guests come from the European Union and the UK, where the GDPR applies. We treat its core expectations as good practice: you can ask to access, correct or delete your data, or opt out of marketing, subject to any legal retention duties. Messages sent through WhatsApp are also covered by WhatsApp’s own terms. Our privacy policy gives the full detail.

What rules apply to using the site itself?

  • Text, photographs and designs belong to their respective owners, including Komodo Luxury and Juara Holding Group. Do not reuse them commercially without written permission.
  • Do not scrape, overload or attempt to breach the site.
  • Links to komodoluxury.com and other websites are provided for convenience; their own terms apply there.

Which law governs these terms?

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Indonesia. We prefer to resolve problems by talking first: contact the desk in writing and allow reasonable time for a reply. Disputes that cannot be settled amicably go before the competent courts of Indonesia, unless your written booking terms specify another forum.

We may update these terms. The date at the top shows the current version, and continued use of the site after an update means you accept it.
