Komodo Luxury sells shared cabins only on the 3D2N open trip. They cost USD 300–850 per person depending on vessel and cabin, and you’ll sail with roughly 8–22 other guests. The weekday open trip starts from USD 220 per person.
Malca Voyages is a useful benchmark because it sells both formats. Its per-person cabin prices for September 2026 departures:

Three patterns stand out.

From about eight guests, private charters fall inside the shared range. On Riley, eight guests pay IDR 8.5 million each, about USD 520. What does the extra money actually buy?

- You want company. Many solo travellers choose open trips to meet other people.
- The standard route is all you want. If Padar, Pink Beach, Komodo and Manta Point cover your wish list, most of the charter premium pays for privacy alone.
